Feather1 $1500 *SOLD*
Feather1 $1500 *SOLD* Yep, now we're talking. This is the kind of wood I swoon over and I doubt there is any other airgunner that has the walnut disease as bad as I have it to pony up for a blank like this. Figure like this is called 'feather' and occurs at the junction of the first large branch. A giant $10,000 walnut tree may only yield one or two blanks like this, and most of them are not long enough for a rifle, so most of these are seen on shotguns. This is a special rare find. exhibition-blanks

MAR2017-CL-3 $900
MAR2017-CL-3 $900 OMG! This is the kind of figure that gets my heart pumping and makes me forget all about my bank account! This is one of those "gotta have it" pieces that frankly I hope no one buys! If you're looking at this piece I know I don't have to point out to you the spectacular color variations, the rare checkerboard figure, and the good grain flow. This blank has it all going on! exhibition-blanks
MAY2015-CL-1 $275
MAY2015-CL-1 $275 Great grain flow and quilted looking figure in this blank. It is probably photographed upside down, but that doesn't detract from the amazing beauty of this blank. One side appears darker than the other, but down inside where the gunstock is it is probably a bit lighter. The presentation side for a right handed blank is the lighter side, but both sides have great figure!
MAR2016-CL-8 $100
MAR2016-CL-8 $100 Alternating colors, grain flow, and even some light figure makes this a fantastic blank for the price! You know I strive to bring my fellow airgunners the best wood at every level, and this piece is a great example! blanks50-150
JUN2016-EN-1 $400 *SOLD*
JUN2016-EN-1 $400 *SOLD* English walnut! Very rare and typically very expensive (most start at a grand), this piece has good mineral streaks on one side. While the other side doesn't display the mineral streaks so dramatically, remember that they are falling off through the blank, so down inside where the gunstock is they may still be there! To find a piece of English walnut (also called French but it's the same thing) at this price point with mineral streaks is an amazing find! blanks360-500
JUN2016-CL-1 $325
JUN2016-CL-1 $325 What an incredible blank! You can see why I love going to the mills searching for wood! Contrasting colors, dark mineral streaks, and great figure! blanks260-350
